FEBRUARY 6, 2009: PATRICK LANE

Considered to be the greatest poet of his generation and one of the finest non-fiction writers; and now, novelist for Red Dog, Red Dog, reads poetry from his many collections.

FEBRUARY 13, 2009: SHERI-D. WILSON

One of the world's great performance poets, gives poetry a new meaning when she's on the stage.

FEBRUARY 20, 2009: MONTE REID & DVORA LEVIN

MONTE REID, this award winning poet reads from The Luskerville Reductions, recording a year in the life of a small Quebec town and the marriage that disintegrates there.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts. .



DVORA LEVIN, launches her chapbook, Bite the Blue Apple, her healing poems, and Sharav. Poet Susan Stenson says, "these poems summon the silence after prayer, hopeful and still." She will be accompanied with lovely music.

FEBRUARY 27, 2009: SUSAN GILLIS & MAURICE MIERAU

SUSAN GILLIS, Montreal poet, is the author of Swimming among the Ruins. Her second book Volta won the A.M. Kline Prize for Poetry. She is presently working on a collection of poems concerning buildings and rivers.

MAURICE MIERAU, Winnipeg poet, is the author of Fear Not, his second book of poetry. He is past president of the League of Canadian Poets.
