FEBRUARY 1, 2008: CHELSEA RUSHTON & DENNIS REID
Chelsea Rushton, a 3rd year Creative Writing Major at UVic, and editor of This Side of West, the undergraduate literary journal, reads new work.
Dennis Reid, sports fishing columnist, poet and winner of the Bliss Carmen Prize, reads from The Hunger, his latest book from Ekstasis Editions.
FEBRUARY 8, 2008: STEVEN PRICE & DONNA KANE
Steven Price, UVic Creative Writing Instructor and winner of the Gerald Lampert award for The Anatomy of Keys from Brick Books, reads.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
Donna Kane, Peace River poet, now at UVic, reads from her second book of poetry, Erratic , from Hagios Press.
FEBRUARY 15, 2008: YVONNE BLOMER & SUSAN MCCASLIN
Yvonne Blomer, whose book , a broken mirror, fallen leaf, from Ekstasis, was nominated for the Pat Lowther award, reads new work.
Susan McCaslin, former English teacher at Douglas College, reads from Lifting the Stone, from Seraphim Editions.
FEBRUARY 22, 2008: SHERI-D WILSON
Sheri-D Wilson, Canada's best performance poet ,reads from Zoom from Frontenac House. She will also offer a performance workshop on February 23.
FEBRUARY 29, 2008: LOUISE HALFE AND MURRAY REISS
Louise Halfe, also known as Sky Dancer, was Saskatchewan's Poet Laureate for two years. She reads new work and from her latest book, Blue Marrow, from Couteau.

Murray Reiss, Salt Spring poet, reads from Distance from the locus, from Mother Tongue Press.
