November's nifty planet earth poetry calendar

NOVEMBER 3, 2006: IVAN E. COYOTE & STEVE McORMAND

Ivan E. Coyote is considered Canada's best storyteller. She will read from her third collection of short stories Loose Ends from Arsenal Pulp Press.

NOVEMBER 10, 2006: LEAF PRESS CHAPBOOK LAUNCH


Some of the Island's best poets read from these chapbooks, Witch in White and Anecdote produced from the Glenairley Poetry retreats with Patrick Lane. Patrick Lane will introduce the evening.

NOVEMBER 17, 2006: ERIC MILLER, IAIN HIGGINS & RAFI AARON

UVic English prof, and Malahat Review poetry editior, Eric Miller, reads from his new book, Reservoir, from Ekstasis Editions.

Uvic English prof, and Canadian Literature poetry editor, Iain Higgins, reads from his latest book, Then Again.

Toronto poet, Rafi Aaron, world traveller, reads from his latest book of poems, Surviving the Censor: The Unspoken Words of Osip Mandelstram.

NOVEMBER 24, 2006: WENDY MORTON

Planet Earth Poetry host, Wendy Morton, celebrates her birthday with the launch of her memoir, Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast, from emdash publications.
